"Why I Write, Why I Create" Essay

A creative piece of writing submitted to, and displayed by the "Why I Write, Why I Create" Exhibition, back in 2016. Using intriguing visuals and real-life examples, the essay explores the methods and reasons as to why and how I create the artwork that I do.  The essay will also reappear in the "Why I Write, Why I Create: 5-Year Collection" in 2019.

The poster also displays a picture of a piece of my artwork: a handmade book of different pieces of paper that I have "pulled" over the years. Each page has it's own unique and unusual colors and textures, giving each section of the book these fantastical moments which reflect the experience found in the essay above.
